These terms are the agreement between you and us when you use ReelPull or the website at reelpull.app. They’re written to be read, not to be impressive. If something here is unclear, email us and we’ll explain it in plain terms.
ReelPull is made and sold by Byte Bridges Solutions Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales, company number 17186662, registered office 40 Buttermere Close, Bletchley, Milton Keynes MK2 3DY, United Kingdom. Contact: support@reelpull.app.
ReelPull is a native macOS app that takes a video link and produces an edit-ready file on your Mac. The downloading and remuxing happen locally. The free tier is genuinely free and uncapped — no watermarks, no trial clock, no account. Pro is a paid subscription that adds edit-ready ProRes export, source-ceiling quality, and batch downloads.
ReelPull is a tool. You are responsible for what you use it on. By using it you confirm you have the right to download and use the material in question — because it’s your own upload, it’s licensed to you, it’s Creative Commons or public domain, or the rights holder has otherwise permitted it.
ReelPull refuses DRM-protected streaming services by design, and you must not attempt to use it, or modify it, to circumvent any technical protection measure. Nothing in these terms is permission from us to infringe anyone’s copyright, and we can’t give you rights we don’t hold.
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and use ReelPull, including for commercial work — freelance, client and in-house use are all fine, and that applies to the free tier too.
You may not resell or redistribute the app itself, or reverse-engineer it except where the law says you may regardless of what a contract states.
Open-source components are the exception. ReelPull bundles third-party software — currently yt-dlp and ffmpeg — which is licensed to you directly by its authors under its own terms, not under this agreement. Nothing here restricts what those licences permit, including copying, modifying and redistributing those components. The licences and the source for each are listed at reelpull.app/licences.
A Pro key is Ed25519-signed, verifies offline on your Mac, and is issued to the person who bought it. Don’t share or publish it. It renews itself automatically in the background while your subscription is active, with a seven-day grace window so being offline doesn’t lock you out. If you lose it, use Lost your key? and we’ll re-send it to the purchase email.
Pro costs £3.99 a month or £39 a year. Payment is taken by Stripe; we never see or store your card details. The subscription renews automatically at the same price until you cancel. If we ever change the price, we’ll tell you by email before it affects you, and you can cancel rather than accept it.
Cancel yourself, at any time, in the Stripe customer portal — Manage subscription. No email required, no retention flow, no reason needed. Your Pro features keep working until the end of the period you’ve already paid for, then the app quietly returns to the free tier. Files you’ve already downloaded are yours and stay on your Mac.
If you’re a consumer in the UK or EU you have a statutory right to cancel within 14 days. Beyond that, our own policy is simpler than the law requires: ask within 14 days of a payment and we’ll refund it in full, first payment or renewal, no questions. Email support@reelpull.app.
After 14 days we don’t refund part-used periods, but you can cancel at any time to stop the next one. None of this affects your statutory rights if something is faulty or not as described.
ReelPull depends on video sites we don’t control, and they change without warning. We actively maintain the app — that ongoing work is what your subscription pays for — but we can’t guarantee that any particular site or video will work, or keep working. If that’s not a trade-off you want to make, use the free tier first and see how it handles the sites you actually use before subscribing.
We also don’t promise the app is free of every bug, or that it will be available uninterrupted. It is provided as-is beyond the guarantees the law gives you.
We may suspend or end your licence if you use ReelPull to break the law — most obviously to circumvent DRM or infringe copyright — or if you share or publish your key. Where it’s reasonable to do so we’ll warn you first and give you a chance to put it right, and we’ll refund any unused paid period unless you’ve been using the app for something plainly unlawful.
We don’t exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law doesn’t allow us to exclude — including your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
Beyond that, we’re not liable for lost profits, lost work, or lost data, and our total liability to you is limited to what you’ve paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Keep your own backups of work that matters — that’s true of any tool, not just this one.
We may update these terms. If a change materially affects you as a subscriber we’ll email you before it takes effect, and you can cancel if you’d rather not accept it. The date at the top always shows when this page last changed.
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you’re a consumer, you keep the benefit of any mandatory protections of the country you live in, and you can bring a claim in your local courts.
